The design goal of this new construction home was to marry the wife’s love of horses and rustic western style with the husband’s appreciation for old world design. The warm earthy color palette, rustic and heavy woods, along with specialty plaster and metal details give this home the perfect blend for them to enjoy all year round. Completing all of the finishes and consulting on the furniture selections, J White Designs used detailed design drawings and samples to ensure the client’s hopes became a reality.

Situated among the pine trees, this newly constructed home was a labor of love from the entire team – client, builder, architect and J White Designs) – throughout the entire build. Touches of traditional elegance mixed with rustic trusses and flooring create an inviting home for the couple to enjoy during the summer. Splashes of navy, sage green and crimson add uniqueness to each room while still keeping a neutral color story for the entire home.

Tearing off the entire back of the house, this remodel was all encompassing to create a larger kitchen, family room and master suite for a lovely family of five to enjoy. Beginning with initial space planning of what walls to move and what to demo, J White Designs involvement was paramount to the success of this project. With a limited budget and many goals, the team worked hard to ensure the clients’ happiness down to the last detail of artwork and accessories.
